Evelyn Bang
UX & Human Factors Designer
Designing intuitive systems for complex, real-world environments
About Me
Hi, my name is Evelyn. I'm currently a student at Rice University pursuing a Masters in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and Human Factors (HF). I am an alumni at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. My bachelors was in Philosophy and Fine Arts under a mixed major of Humanities and Fine Arts. I achieved a minor in HCI that focuses on UX/UI. My career goal is to work in the UX/UI Design field. I have been involved in UX/UI, Web Design, XR, AI ethics, and robotics over the course of my career.
I approach design with disciplined curiosity and an expectation that every decision should earn its place. My work blends rigorous user research with clear, intentional UX design, ensuring that solutions don’t just look refined: they solve the right problems with measurable impact. I’m methodical, thorough, and unafraid to dig into the details that shape meaningful, reliable user experiences. My goal is straightforward: create products that respect people, stand up to complexity, and hold their quality over time.
